The latest Rocket League rank distributions for Season 13 (December 9th 2019 – March 25 2020) have been published over on Reddit.
As is becoming tradition, similar to what we did during season 11 and season 12, I wanted to break them down and design them as charts and graphs to help understand what’s going on a little better.
I have also added a ‘Top’ percentile to show your overall rank in comparison with others. This highlights some interesting facts such as being a 3v3 solo standard Grand Champ is the rarest rank to reach, as well as the fact it has almost seven times more players than in normal standard 3v3.
You can also see Season 1 of the new Rocket League update (technically missing season 14)
Without any more delay here is the data and top comparison rank percentiles:

What is your rank?

There are also plenty of guides and articles that have been published which you can take a look at on the Rocket League Guides & Resources section of the website.
Final advice on ranking up
Remember that ranking up is only one aspect of the game to determine how good you are. When you look at events and tournaments in Rocket League, there is always a jump between the rank of a player and the success they have in leagues and events.
The perfect example of that is the 3v3 ranking leaderboard. While many of the players in the top 100 are competing at RLCS or RLRS levels, there is certainly no direct correlation between the two. A top 10 player could easily lose against a top 100.
So why care about your rank? Well, at non-professional levels is generally indicates your skill. Of course, you can be carried by team-mates but the rank can give a motivation to try and work towards improving your game.
I’ve seen that the more time a player puts into the learning side of the game then the more they will appreciate the progression of the game.
So it doesn’t matter if you’re a low rank that is making mistakes or a higher rank trying to get into Grand Champ, ultimately it’s about the progress and experience you have with the game.
Let’s see how Season 14 goes! Share your progress on our Discord community and maybe even team up with others to make it a whole lot more fun.
